비대면 간편 신청 대상자는 지난해 공익직불금 등록정보와 올해 농업경영체 등록정보가 동일한 농업인이며, 신청 방법은 수신 문자를 통한 PC, 스마트폰, 전화자동응답시스템(ARS)을 통해 가능하다.

​ 대면 방문 신청 대상자는 신규 신청자, 관외 경작자, 비대면 미신청자, 지난해 직불금 등록정보가 변경된 농업인 등이 농지 면적이 가장 넓은 소재지의 읍·면사무소로 방문 신청하여야 한다.

특히, 올해는 2017년~2019년 중 1회 이상 직불금을 받았던 지급 대상 농지요건이 폐지되어 신청이 가능하게 되었다.

농업인 요건은 1년 이상 직불금 대상 농지에서 1,000㎡ 이상 경작하여야 하며, 영농폐기물 적정 관리, 영농일지 작성‧보관, 마을공동체 활동, 교육 이수 등 17개 준수사항을 이행하여야 한다.

공익직불금 추진 일정은 신청이 완료되면 자격요건 검증 및 준수사항 이행점검(5~9월), 지급대상자 및 지급액 확정(10월) 등의 절차를 거쳐 12월에는 농업인에게 직불금을 지급할 계획이다.

장세석 농정과장은“2022년 기본형 공익직불금이 72억원 지급되었으나 올해는 지급 대상 농지가 확대됨에 따라 농업인의 혜택이 증가할 것으로 기대된다”며“공익직불금은 매년 신청하여 등록하는 사업으로 등록신청서와 관련 서류를 지참하여 꼭 신청해 주길 바란다”라고 전했다.
