울진군에 따르면 지난 22일 대구지방법원 영덕지원은 울진군이 제기한 ‘부동산 등 인도 청구 소송’에서 계약 기간 종료 이후에도 시설을 점유하고 있던 ㈜스카이레일 측에 대해 “계약 종료가 명백하며 점유 권한이 없다”며 시설을 인도하라고 판결했다.

앞서 울진군은 2024년 8월 1일자로 종료된 죽변해안스카이레일 위탁 운영 계약과 관련해 재계약을 하지 않기로 결정했다. 이에 대해 ㈜스카이레일이 제기한 ‘위탁관리 및 운영 재계약 거부 처분 취소 소송’에서도 법원은 울진군의 처분이 정당하다고 판단해 운영사의 청구를 기각한 바 있다.
