20일 영천시 농업기술센터에서 열린 토론회에는 샤인머스켓 생산자, 유통 종사자, 외부 전문가, 소비자단체들과 함께 샤인머스켓 품질향상을 위한 토론을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

농업기술센터에 따르면 이날 토론회에서는 향후 샤인머스켓 재배 전망과 함께 수출을 통한 해외시장 개척, 고품질 생산을 위한 다양한 방안들이 제시 되었다. 특히, 품질 저하 주요 원인으로 송이 크기가 크고 많이 착과시키는 것이라며 송이 무게는 500~700g, 착과량은 2,000㎡(600평)에 5톤 정도로 재배하는 것이 품질을 향상하는 방안이라고 제시했다.

이어 ‘샤인머스캣 수출현황과 전망’을 발표한 황의창 한국포도수출연합 대표이사는 현재 샤인머스캣의 품질 저하로 수출 품위 포도의 물량은 오히려 부족하다고 언급했다.
