28일 경북도에 따르면 해당 농장은 육계 80,800여수를 사육하는 농가로 지난 27일 농장주가 폐사 증가로 신고를 하였고, 동물위생시험소정밀검사 결과 H5형 항원이 검출됐다.
경북도는 즉시 가축위생방역본부 초동대응팀을 현장에 출동시켜 선제적인 방역조치를 실시하고 조류인플루엔자 예방 및 확산 방지를 위해서 도 자체적으로 일시이동중지 명령을 발령했다.
고병원성 여부는 농림축산검역본부에서 확인검사가 진행되며, 최종 판정까지는1~2일 정도 소요된다. 고병원성으로 확진될 경우 500m 이내가금 농장에 대해서도 살처분 할 계획이다.
2월 27일 기준 전국 고병원성 조류인플루엔자 발생은 가금농장에서는 68건, 야생조류에서는 166건이며, 도내 발생은 가금농장에서 4건(예천 2, 성주, 칠곡), 야생조류에서 10건(경주 1, 안동 1, 구미 8)이다.
철새의 본격적인 북상시기가 도래함에 따라 2월 철새 개체수가 많고, 북상에 따른 활동범위가 확대되어 가금농가에 고병원성 AI가 유입될 가능성이 높은 상황이다.
김주령 경북도 농축산유통국장은 “농장과 축산시설에서는 집중 소독과 차단방역 수칙을 철저히 준수하고, 폐사 증가, 산란율 저하, 사료섭취 감소 등 고병원성 조류인플루엔자 의심증상을 확인 즉시 방역당국으로 신고해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
