【브레이크뉴스 대구시】박은정 기자= 대구시는 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(AI) 발생 위험이 높은 오는 10월부터 내년 2월까지를 특별방역대책 기간으로 설정해 AI 발생방지를 위해 방역관리를 강화한다고 29일 밝혔다.

올해 전 세계적으로 H5N1형 고병원성 AI 발생하고 있고, 유럽의 고병원성 AI 발생이 증가한 점을 고려할 경우, 올 겨울 국내에 고병원성 AI 유입 가능성이 높은 것으로 전망하고 있다. 

이에 대구시는 특별방역대책 기간 전 가금농가, 거점소독시설, 가금류 도축장의 방역실태 점검, 가축방역관 AI 차단방역 역량 강화교육, 가금농가의 방역의식 제고를 위한 방역교육을 완료해 동절기를 대비하고 있다. 

특별방역대책 기간 동안 조류인플루엔자 방역상황실을 운영해 24시간 비상체계를 유지하고, 철새에서 가금농장으로 고병원성 AI의 유입차단을 위해 철새도래지(동구 안심습지)의 축산 관련 차량 출입통제를 실시하는 등 관리를 강화한다. 

또 전업규모 가금농가에 대해서 전담관제를 운영해 방역수칙을 홍보하고, 지자체 방역차량을 동원해 매일 소독을 지원한다. 

특히 농장 간 전파 차단을 위해 가금농가 및 축산 관련 시설 정밀검사를 강화하고, 가금농가 방역준수사항 등 행정명령을 실시해 차단방역 강화에 나선다.

이동건 대구시 농산유통과장은 “조류인플루엔자 발생은 축산업에 막대한 피해를 끼치는 재난상황으로 가금농가의 철저한 차단방역이 중요하다”며, “가금농가는 방역수칙을 준수하고, 산란율 저하 및 AI 의심증상이 발견되면 즉시 신고해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
