【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자= '2023 고령대가야축제'가 오는 31일부터 4월 2일까지 3일간 '대가야의 꿈'이란 주제로 대가야역사테마관광지와 지산리고분군, 왕릉전시관 등 대가야읍 일원에서 열린다. 

그동안 4일 동안 개최했던 것을 올해는 3일로 단축해 집중도를 높였다. 또, 체험 위주의 기존 프로그램에서 벗어났다. 정체성에 초점을 맞추자는 의도에서다.

대신, 가야의 독특한 문화와 문명 재조명을 통한 역사.문화 축제에 빛과 조명 등 다양한 소재의 콘텐츠를 더했다. 

여기에 처음으로 야간프로그램을 선보여 오후 9시까지 연장 진행하고, 안전의 중요성을 감안해 안전대책종합상황본부를 운영하고 안전요원 배치와 방송기기 설치 등 안전한 축제에도 초점을 맞췄다. 

축제는 31일 오전 11시 대가야종묘에서 ‘제5회 대가야종묘대제’를 시작으로 막이 오를 예정으로, 이날 고령군립가야금연주단의 100대 가야금 공연을 비롯해 경북도립무용단의 특별 공연, 고분군 야간투어 등이 선보인다.

둘째날인 4월 1일에는 제42회 악성우륵추모제와 고령`달성`순천`함안`등 9개 합창단이 참가하는 가야문화권 합창 페스티벌, 가족특별공연 ‘김영만종이접기’, 고분군 야간투어, 서커스와 라이브음악이 어우러진 환상음악극 ‘가야의 노래’, 대가야별빛쇼 등이 펼쳐진다. 

축제 마지막 날인 2일에는 환상음악극 ‘가야의 노래’, 경북도립국악단 기획공연, 고분군 야간투어 등이 예정되어 있다. 이날 오후 3시부터 고령초교에서 문화누리야외공연장까지 1.7km를 행진하는 ‘대가야의 길’ 퍼레이드는 예마을 취타대, 공연팀, 예술단체, 주민, 축제 참가자들이 함께 참여해 떠들썩한 길놀이 한마당으로 꾸며질 예정이다.

체험 프로그램으로는 선캐쳐 만들기를 비롯해 풍경(유리모빌종) 만들기, 딸기퐁듀, 딸기찹쌀떡, 딸기비누, 미니가야금제작, 대가야 칼 제작, 대가야 미늘쇠 제작, 대가야성벽쌓기, 옥사체험, 한지인형만들기 등을 체험할 수 있다.

유네스코 세계문화유산 등재를 앞두고 있는 지산리 고분군을 산책하는 야간투어는 축제 기간 내 오후 6시부터 9시까지 운영된다. 스스로 만든 딸기 모양의 등을 들고 대가야의 옛이야기를 들으며 고분군 일대를 트레킹 할 수 있다. 다만,  야간투어에는 사전 예약하거나 현장 접수해야 참여할 수 있다. 이밖에 대가야상점(플리마켓)과 지역 농산물 전시 판매, 대가야고상가옥 생활체험, 작은 문화 공연 등이 축제 기간 내내 운영된다.

한편, 1일 오후 2시부터 고령군생활체육공원에서는 KBS전국노래자랑 고령편 공개녹화가 진행될 예정이다.

이남철 고령군수와 고령군관광협의회 김용현 회장은 “올해 고령대가야축제는 야간프로그램을 선보이는 등 많은 변화를 줬다”면서 “가족, 연인과 함께 많이 방문해 역사 공부도 하면서 오랜만에 맞은 봄을 제대로 만끽하기 바란다"고 한마음으로 성공 개최를 약속했다.
