【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구지방고용노동청(청장 김규석)은 올해 1월 22일부터 지역 내 제조업 등 빈일자리 업종 중소기업에 취업한 청년에게 최대 200만원을 지원하는 일자리 채움 청년지원금 신청자 수가 배정 인원 대비 42.9%(3월5일 기준)에 달하는 등 빠르게 늘어나고 있에 신속하게 신청할 것을 당부했다.

‘일자리 채움 청년지원금’은 올해 신설된 사업으로, 빈일자리 업종 중소기업의 인력난을 해소하고, 취업 청년의 임금 격차를 완화함으로써 일자리미스매치를 해소하기 위한 사업이다.

지원 대상은 만15~34세 청년으로제조업 등중소기업(고용보험 피보험자 수5인 이상)에2023년 10월 1일 이후 정규직으로 취업(주 30시간 이상)하여3개월 이상 근속한 근로자이다.

해당 청년은누리집 ‘고용24’에 근로계약서및 재직증명서 등을 첨부하여 지원금을 신청할 수 있으며, 3개월·6개월 차에 각 100만원 씩 총 200만원을 직접 계좌로 지급받는다.

지원금을 받은 청년들은 “6개월 근속해서 2차 지원금도 꼭 받겠다.”, “일자리 채움 청년지원금과 같은 청년을 위한 사업이 다양했으면 좋겠다.”라고 말했다.

김규석 대구지방고용노동청장은 “이번 사업은 올해 한시적으로 운영되며, 예산 범위 내에서 신청 인원 한도 도달 시에는 지원이 종료되므로, 대상 청년들은 조속히 신청할 필요가 있다.”라고 하면서 “해당 지원금을 통해 청년은 생계부담을 덜면서 경력을 쌓고, 중소기업은 우수한 청년을 채용할 기회를 얻을 것으로 기대된다.”라고 말했다.
