또 이 지사는 시군 안전책임지원관으로 지정된 실·국장에게 해당 지역으로 가서 피해 상황을 점검하고 대응을 위해 필요한 것이 있는지 직접 살펴보라고 말했다.

한편, 경북도는 9일 밤과 10일 새벽 사이 호우경보 12곳(구미, 성주, 칠곡, 김천, 상주, 예천, 안동, 영주, 의성, 영천, 청송, 포항)과 호의주의보 9곳(경산, 청도, 고령, 문경, 영양, 봉화, 영덕, 울진, 경주, 북동산지)이 발효되는 등 사실상 경북 전체가 집중 호우 영향을 받았다.
