【브레이크뉴스 경주】이성현 기자=한국수력원자력(사장 황주호, 이하 한수원)은 지난 11월 30일 산업통상자원부(이하 산자부)와 합동으로‘미래재난 예측 및 대비전략’이라는 주제로 2022년도 하반기 재난안전워크숍을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

산업부 주최, 한수원 주관으로 경주 라한호텔에서 열린 이날 워크숍에는 산업부 산하 22개 재난관리기관과 담당자 100여명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

이날 워크숍은 재난관리 우수기관 표창 수여, 재난 대응 수범사례 발표, 미래재난 예측 및 대비전략 특강 등으로 정보를 교류하고 소통했다.

김광석 산업부 비상안전기획관은 “이번 워크숍은 기관 간 재난대응 사례 정보교류 및 미래재난 예측·대비 특강으로 재난안전관리의 현재와 미래에대해생각해 볼 수 있는 소중한 시간이었다”고 말했다.

이승철 한수원 품질안전본부장은 “각 기관이 서로의 재난안전 수준을 살펴보고 더 나은 재난대비 전략을 논의하는 좋은 기회였다”며, “한수원은 이번 워크숍을 통해 발굴한 재난 대응 우수 사례를 잘 접목해 다양한 유형의 재난에 철저히 대비할 수 있는 역량을 키우겠다”고 말했다.

Exchange of information with KHNP and organizations related to disaster preparedness

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (President Hwang Joo-ho, hereinafter referred to as KHNP) announced on November 30th that it held a disaster safety workshop in the second half of 2022 under the theme of 'Future Disaster Prediction and Preparedness Strategies' jointly with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy).

Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and supervised by KHNP, the workshop was held at Lahan Hotel in Gyeongju, attended by 22 disaster management agencies under the Ministry of Industry and about 100 people in charge.

On this day, information was exchanged and communicated through the awarding of commendations for excellent organizations in disaster management, presentations on exemplary cases of disaster response, and special lectures on future disaster forecasting and preparedness strategies.

Kim Kwang-seok, Director of Emergency Safety Planning at the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, said, "This workshop was a valuable time to think about the present and future of disaster safety management through exchange of information on disaster response cases between institutions and special lectures on future disaster prediction and preparation."

Lee Seung-cheol, head of KHNP's Quality Safety Headquarters, said, "It was a good opportunity for each institution to look at each other's disaster safety level and discuss better disaster preparedness strategies." We will develop the capacity to thoroughly prepare for tangible disasters,” he said.
