통계청은 매년 법령(통계법 제4조의2)에 근거해 본 행사를 개최하고 있으며, 이 자리에서 국가 통계업무 진흥에 공로가 있는 단체(기관)와 개인을 선정해 표창을 수여하고 있다.

이날 행사에서 표창을 수상한 박 차장은 도시철도부문 공공데이터 관리, 데이터 인프라구축 및 데이터기반행정 업무추진을 수행해 왔다.

표창의 공적기간에 거둔 대표적인 성과로는‘노인 일자리 적정 입지 선정’을 주제로 대구 빅데이터 경진대회 장려상 수상, 통계개발원 계간지에‘Covid-19 확산에 따른 도시철도 통행량 변화’에 관한 논문 기고를 들 수 있다.

대구교통공사 김기혁 사장은“공공데이터의 철저한 관리와 이에 기반한 업무추진을 보다 활성화하고 효과적으로 활용해 더 나은 교통서비스를 제공하겠다”라고 말했다.

Daegu Transportation Corporation Vice President Park Yeon-hak received the Prime Minister’s Award at the 30th Statistics Day Commemoration Ceremony held in the main auditorium of the Daejeon Government Complex on August 30.

The National Statistical Office holds this event every year based on the law (Article 4-2 of the Statistics Act), and awards awards to organizations (institutions) and individuals who have contributed to the promotion of national statistical work.

Vice President Park, who received the award at the event, has been performing public data management, data infrastructure construction, and data-based administrative work in the urban railway sector.
