【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼)은 지난 11일 대구그랜드호텔에서 일본기업 초청 투자설명회 및 한일기업 교류회를개최했다고 12일 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 자동차 부품, 환경, 에너지 등 산업 분야의 일본후쿠오카 기업과 국내 일본계 기업 10개사 및 DGFEZ 입주기업 10개사 등 관계자 50여명이 참석했다.

1부 투자설명회에서는 신한은행과 삼일회계법인이 금융·조세제도 등 한국의 투자환경을 소개하고, 대구경북경제자유구역청은 로봇·ICT, 미래모빌리티 등 주요산업 및 인재 채용 여건, 투자인센티브 등 DGFEZ의 우수한 투자여건을 설명했다.

2부 한일 기업 교류회에서는 글로벌 진출을 전개하고 있는 대구경북 기업들의 사업 추진현황 소개와 일본기업의 한일 비즈니스 성공 사례 발표로 참가자들의 관심을 끌었다.

행사에 참석한 일본기업들은 다음날 경산·영천·포항 등의 DGFEZ사업지구를 방문하여 주요 지원시설 및 입주기업 견학 등에 참여하여 대구경북경제자유구역에 대한 이해도를 높이고 지역의 문화 및 산업 인프라를 직접 체험했다.

한편, 김병삼 청장은 “대구경북 기업과 일본기업 간의 교류의 장을마련했다는 점에서 의의가 크다. 향후 참가 기업들의 성공적인비즈니스 성과로 이어지기를 기대한다.”며 “앞으로도 DGFEZ의 수성알파시티, 경산지식산업지구, 영천하이테크파크지구, 포항융합기술산업지구의 잔여 외투용지에 대한 투자유치를위해 해외 기업과의 협력을 지속적으로 확대할 것이다.”라고 밝혔다.

현재 DGFEZ에는 미국, 일본, 중국, 싱가포르 등 32개 외투기업이 투자하였으며, 이 가운데 일본기업은 자동차 부품, 산업용 로봇 등 분야에 6개사가 입주해 있다.

The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Kim Byung-sam) announced on the 12th that it held an investment briefing session for Japanese companies and a Korea-Japan business exchange meeting at the Daegu Grand Hotel on the 11th.

The event was attended by approximately 50 people, including Japanese Fukuoka companies in the automotive parts, environment, and energy industries, 10 domestic Japanese companies, and 10 DGFEZ tenant companies.

In the first part of the investment briefing session, Shinhan Bank and Samil Accounting Corporation introduced Korea’s investment environment, including the financial and tax systems, while the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority explained DGFEZ’s excellent investment conditions, including major industries such as robots, ICT, and future mobility, as well as talent recruitment conditions and investment incentives.

The second part of the Korea-Japan Business Exchange attracted the attention of participants by introducing the business progress status of Daegu-Gyeongbuk companies that are expanding globally and presenting successful cases of Korea-Japan business by Japanese companies.

The Japanese companies that attended the event visited the DGFEZ business districts of Gyeongsan, Yeongcheon, and Pohang the next day and participated in tours of major support facilities and companies in residence, thereby increasing their understanding of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone and experiencing the region’s cultural and industrial infrastructure firsthand.

Meanwhile, Commissioner Kim Byeong-sam said, “It is significant in that it has provided a venue for exchange between Daegu-Gyeongbuk companies and Japanese companies. I hope that it will lead to successful business results for participating companies in the future.” He added, “We will continue to expand cooperation with overseas companies to attract investment in the remaining foreign investment sites of DGFEZ’s Susung Alpha City, Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District, Yeongcheon High-Tech Park District, and Pohang Convergence Technology Industrial District.”

Currently, 32 foreign investment companies from the US, Japan, China, Singapore, etc. have invested in DGFEZ, and among them, 6 Japanese companies are located in the fields of automobile parts, industrial robots, etc.
