【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼)은 6일 오전 영천상공회의소에서 산·학·연·관이 함께 하는 ‘2024 영천첨단부품소재 산업지구 혁신생태계협의회 한마당’행사를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 김병삼 대구경북경제자유구역청장, 최기문 영천시장, 김환식 ㈜한중엔시에스 대표, 손동기 영천상공회의소 회장, 박창률 경북테크노파크 센터장, 송종호 경북자동차임베디드연구원장, 최무영 한국폴리텍대학 로봇캠퍼스 학장이혁신생태계협의회 7개 기관을 대표하여 참석하였고,입주기업 CEO협의회 참여기업 대표 등 60여명이 참석하여 영천첨단부품소재산업지구 혁신생태계 활성화 방안에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

영천첨단부품소재산업지구 혁신생태계협의회는 7개 기관·단체들이 상호 소통·공유·융합하여 기업의 성장을 모색하고 지역경제 활성화를 위해 2021년에 구성된 협의체이다. 협의체가 구성되고,매년 혁신생태계 한마당 행사를 개최하였으며 올해 세 번째 행사를 개최하게 되었다.

이번 행사는대구본부세관의 입주기업 수출입 지원을 위한 관세행정지원제도와 해외 주요국 통상환경 전망소개, 연구기관 주요현안 발표(경북테크노파크, 경북자동차임베디드연구원),기업현장의 애로사항 청취 및 혁신생태계활성화 방안 논의 순으로 진행됐다.

또한 이날 대구경북경제자유구역 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 ㈜이숲 장태숙 대표와 ㈜승보스틸 고은경 대표가 유공자 표창을 수상하기도 했다.

이어진 연구기관별 주요 발표내용에서 경북테크노파크에서는 지역기업 성장사다리 지원사업과 영천기업 연구시설장비 바우처 지원사업 등 다양한 기업지원 사업을 소개했다.

경북자동차임베디드연구원은 2024 경제자유구역 혁신생태계 조성사업추진으로 경제자유구역 입주기업의 역량 강화를 위한 사업을 지원하였다고밝히며, 지역 주민과 기업 그리고 다양한 단체들이 함께 모여 자원을 공유하고 협력할 수 있는 ‘도남 공동활용센터’를 소개했다.

대경경자청은 입주기업의 혁신성장을 돕고 혁신생태계 조성사업 등 체계적인 지원을 하였다. 또한 지난해 혁신생태계협의회 한마당 행사 때 건의된공영주차장, 쓰레기함 설치를 완료하였으며, 지역 제조산업 특성에맞춘 신기술(AI, 로봇, 미래모빌리티 등) 입주기업 역량강화 교육도 실시했다.

김병삼청장은 “첨단부품소재산업은 4차 산업혁명 시대의 핵심 동력으로 우리 경제의 미래를 밝히는 중요한 요소이다. 이러한 시대적 흐름에맞춰 영천첨단부품소재산업지구가 한단계 더 도약할 수 있도록 산업현장의목소리를 듣고 애로사항을 해결하기 위해 영천시와 연구기관이 함께하는혁신생태계 협의회 자리를 마련했다”라며,

“우리 경자청에서는 지속적인 혁신과 협력을 바탕으로 외국인 투자유치와기업지원을 위한 다양한 혜택과 인프라를 제공하여 기업하기 좋은 환경 조성을 위해 앞장서겠다”고 강조했다.

Daegu Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority Director Kim Byung-sam, Yeongcheon Mayor Choi Ki-moon, Hanjung NCS CEO Kim Hwan-sik, Yeongcheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Son Dong-gi, Gyeongbuk Technopark Center Director Park Chang-ryul, Gyeongbuk Automotive Embedded Research Institute Director Song Jong-ho, and Korea Polytechnic University Robot Campus Dean Choi Moo-young, representing the seven Innovation Ecosystem Council organizations, attended the event, and about 60 people, including representatives of participating companies in the CEO council of resident companies, had time to discuss ways to vitalize the Yeongcheon Advanced Components and Materials Industry District innovation ecosystem.

The Yeongcheon Advanced Components and Materials Industry District Innovation Ecosystem Council is a council formed in 2021 by seven organizations and groups to communicate, share, and integrate with each other to seek corporate growth and revitalize the local economy. Since the council was formed, the Innovation Ecosystem Festival has been held every year, and this year marks the third event.

This event was held in the following order: introduction of the customs administration support system for export and import support for companies located in Daegu Main Customs, an introduction of the trade environment outlook for major overseas countries, presentation of major issues by research institutes (Gyeongbuk Techno Park, Gyeongbuk Automotive Embedded Research Institute), listening to difficulties faced by companies, and discussion of ways to revitalize the innovation ecosystem.

In addition, CEO Jang Tae-sook of Isoop Co., Ltd. and CEO Ko Eun-kyung of Seungbo Steel Co., Ltd. were awarded commendations for their contributions to the development of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone.

In the main presentations by research institutes that followed, Gyeongbuk Technopark introduced various corporate support projects such as the regional corporate growth ladder support project and the Yeongcheon corporate research facility equipment voucher support project.

Gyeongbuk Automotive Embedded Research Institute announced that it supported a project to strengthen the capacity of companies in the economic free zone by promoting the 2024 economic free zone innovation ecosystem creation project, and introduced the ‘Donam Joint Utilization Center’ where local residents, companies, and various organizations can gather together to share resources and cooperate.

Daegyeong Gyeongjacheong helped companies innovate and grow and provided systematic support such as the innovation ecosystem creation project. In addition, it completed the installation of public parking lots and trash bins suggested at the Innovation Ecosystem Council Hanmadang event last year, and also conducted capacity building training for companies in new technologies (AI, robots, future mobility, etc.) tailored to the characteristics of the regional manufacturing industry.

Commissioner Kim Byeong-sam said, “The advanced parts and materials industry is a key driving force in the era of the 4th industrial revolution and an important element that brightens the future of our economy. In line with this trend of the times, we have established an innovation ecosystem council with Yeongcheon City and research institutes to listen to the voices of the industrial field and resolve difficulties so that the Yeongcheon Advanced Components and Materials Industrial Complex can take a leap forward,”
