【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=대구경북경제자유구역청(청장 김병삼)과 영천시는 4일 영천시청 영상회의실에서 ㈜오성기공과 투자양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이 자리에는 김병삼 대구경북경제자유구역청장, 최기문 영천시장, 김성곤 ㈜오성기공 대표이사 등이 참석했다.

㈜오성기공은 2025년부터 3년간 총 140억원을 투자하여 영천하이테크파크지구의 12,654㎡(3,834평) 부지에 굴삭기 하부프레임 생산공장을 건립하고, 최소 23명을 신규 채용할 계획이다.

㈜오성기공은 1993년에 설립되었으며, 현재 경산시와 영천시에 사업장 및 연구소를 운영하며, 굴삭기 상하부 프레임, 선박용 발전기 프레임, 철도 차량용 대차프레임 등을 생산하는 기업이다.

이번 투자는 글로벌 건설장비 시장의 성장에 발맞추어, 고객사의 글로벌 시장 확장에 기여하고, 기술 혁신을 통해 글로벌 건설기계장비 분야의 전문 부품 업체로의 성장을 목표로 하고 있다.
