실적 개선의 주된 요인은 전기차용 양극재 판매 증가다. 1분기 전기차용 양극재 매출은 5,030억 원으로 전 분기 대비 76% 급증했다. NCA(니켈·코발트·알루미늄)와 NCM(니켈·코발트·망간) 제품 모두 판매 호조를 보이며 실적 개선을 견인했다.
