【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=에코프로가 대학생 봉사단 ‘에코브리지(EcoBridge) 7기’를 모집한다고 5일 밝혔다.

에코브리지는 에코프로와 초록우산 충북지역본부가 공동 운영하는 대학생 봉사단으로, 에코프로의 ‘에코(Eco)’와 다리를 뜻하는 ‘브리지(Bridge)’를 결합한 명칭이다. 기업과 지역사회를 연결하는 ‘든든한 다리’ 역할을 하겠다는 의미를 담고 있다.

해당 프로그램은 지난 2020년 1기를 시작으로 지난해 6기까지 운영됐으며, 그동안 전국 82개 대학에서 총 248명의 대학생이 참여해 다양한 환경·사회 공헌 활동을 펼쳐왔다.

이번에 선발되는 에코브리지 7기는 전국 대학 재학생과 휴학생을 대상으로 총 50명을 모집한다. 선발된 대학생들은 탄소중립과 K-SDGs(국가지속가능발전목표)를 기반으로 팀별 환경 이슈 관련 활동을 진행하며, 지역사회 봉사활동과 환경 캠페인에도 참여하게 된다.

활동을 수료한 참가자에게는 수료증과 장학금이 지급되며, 활동 기간 동안 필요한 활동비와 교통비도 지원된다. 또한 사회복지자원봉사 인증관리(VMS) 봉사 실적도 인정받을 수 있다.

특히 올해부터는 에코브리지 활동 수료 후 2년 이내 에코프로 입사 지원 시 우대 혜택이 제공될 예정이다.

지원 서류 접수는 오는 15일까지 에코프로 홈페이지를 통해 진행된다. 서류 합격자는 17일 발표되며, 면접은 19일부터 20일까지 실시된다. 최종 합격자는 24일 발표될 예정이다.

The 7th Group of EcoBridge is recruiting a total of 50 students, including current and on leave from universities nationwide. Selected university students will work on environmental issues within their teams, focusing on carbon neutrality and the Korea Sustainable Development Goals (K-SDGs). They will also participate in community service activities and environmental campaigns.

Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate and scholarship, as well as support for activity and transportation expenses during the program. They will also receive recognition for their volunteer work through the Volunteer Management Service (VMS) program.

Starting this year, applicants who complete the EcoBridge program within two years will receive preferential treatment for applying for a position at EcoPro.

Applications will be accepted through the EcoPro website until the 15th. Successful applicants will be announced on the 17th, and interviews will be held from the 19th to the 20th. Final successful applicants will be announced on the 24th.
