에코프로는 대한적십자사 울산혈액원과 함께 지난 3일 에코프로 포항캠퍼스에서 ‘2025 사랑의 헌혈증서 기증식’을 열고 헌혈증 전달식을 진행했다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번에 기부된 헌혈증은 울산혈액원의 협력 아래 에코프로가 연 4회 운영하는 사내 ‘사랑의 헌혈 캠페인’에 참여한 임직원들이 자발적으로 모은 것으로, 수혈이 필요한 환자들의 치료에 활용된다.
에코프로는 2017년부터 정기적인 헌혈 캠페인을 사회공헌활동(CSR)의 일환으로 운영하며 지역사회와 생명 나눔 문화 확산에 기여해왔다. 올해부터는 헌혈증서 기부자에게 봉사시간을 추가 인정하는 제도를 새롭게 도입해 임직원들의 참여를 독려하고 있다.
에코프로 관계자는 “임직원 스스로 참여한 헌혈증 기부가 환자들에게 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 헌혈문화 확산과 혈액 수급 안정화에 기여할 수 있도록 다양한 활동을 지속해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
