【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(대표이사 박정숙)이 지난 19일 세종예술의전당 시크릿씨어터에서 열린 ‘2025 KoCACA아트페스티벌 문예회관 우수사례 발표대회’에서 우수상을 수상했다.

이번 발표대회는 한국문화예술회관연합회가 주관한 전국 단위 행사로, 문예회관 운영의 전문성과 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다. 

1차 서류 심사를 통과한 18개 기관 중 최종 5곳만이 수상의 영예를 안았으며, 행복북구문화재단은 지역 예술 생태계의 지속 가능성을 높인 사례로 주목받았다.

재단은 ‘지원을 넘어 협업과 공존으로 나아가는 유망예술가발굴프로젝트’를 주제로 발표에 나섰다. 

이 프로젝트는 재단 설립과 함께 출범한 대표 사업으로, 만 40세 이하 기초예술 분야 예술가들을 발굴해 매년 4~5편의 신작 공연과 전시를 지원하고 있다. 단순한 창작비 지원을 넘어, 예술가와의 장기적 협력 관계를 바탕으로 예술 활동의 지속 가능성을 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

특히 대구시교육청 및 지역 문화예술 기관과 협력해 운영 중인 고교 특화형 문화예술교육 프로그램 ‘2024 D-Art路’는 지역 청소년과 예술가, 교육 현장을 잇는 혁신 사례로 꼽혔다. 기초예술 관객 개발에도 주력하며, 관객층 확대와 문화 접근성 향상에도 기여해 왔다.

박정숙 대표이사는 “이번 수상은 단순한 성과를 넘어, 지역 예술가와 함께 만들어온 신뢰와 실천의 결과”라며 “앞으로도 창작 기반을 넓히고, 예술인·기관·시민이 함께하는 협업 모델을 통해 지속 가능한 문화 생태계를 조성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation (CEO Park Jeong-sook) won an Excellence Award at the ‘2025 KoCACA Art Festival Arts Center Best Practice Presentation Contest’ held at the Secret Theater of the Sejong Arts Center on the 19th.

This presentation contest is a nationwide event hosted by the Korea Arts Center Association, and was organized to promote professionalism and vitality in the operation of arts centers.

Of the 18 organizations that passed the first round of document screening, only five were awarded the honor, and the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation received attention as a case that increased the sustainability of the local arts ecosystem.

The foundation presented under the theme of ‘Prospective Artist Discovery Project that Goes Beyond Support to Collaboration and Coexistence.’

This project is a representative project launched with the establishment of the foundation, and discovers artists in the basic arts field under the age of 40 and supports 4-5 new performances and exhibitions every year. Beyond simple creative expenses support, the focus was on increasing the sustainability of artistic activities based on long-term partnerships with artists.

In particular, the '2024 D-Art Road', a high school-specific cultural arts education program operated in cooperation with the Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education and local cultural arts organizations, was cited as an innovative case that connects local youth, artists, and educational sites. It has also focused on developing basic arts audiences, and has contributed to expanding the audience base and improving cultural accessibility.

CEO Park Jeong-sook said, "This award is not just a simple achievement, but the result of trust and practice built with local artists," and added, "We will continue to expand the creative foundation and create a sustainable cultural ecosystem through a collaborative model involving artists, organizations, and citizens."
