【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구(구청장 류규하)는 7월부터 10월까지 매월 1회 저녁 7시 김광석길 야외콘서트홀에서 하반기 ‘김광석길 영화관’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 대중적인 인기 영화를 무료로 상영해 주민과 관광객 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
‘김광석길 영화관’은 콘서트홀의 LED 전광판을 활용한 야외 상영 프로그램으로, 지난해 첫 도입 이후 관람객들에게 큰 호응을 얻으며 김광석길 대표 문화 콘텐츠로 자리잡고 있다.
상반기에는 ‘보헤미안 랩소디’, ‘더 퍼스트 슬램덩크’ 등 4편의 영화가 상영됐으며, 하반기에도 장르를 아우르는 다양한 작품을 선보인다.
7월 25일 바이킹 소년과 드래곤 사이의 우정을 그린 애니메이션 ‘드래곤 길들이기’를 시작으로 8월 22일 ‘엑시트’, 9월 19일 ‘토이 스토리 3‘, 10월 31일 ’가디언즈 오브 갤럭시‘까지 다양한 장르의 영화가 상영된다.
류규하 중구청장은 “김광석길에서 즐기는 영화 한 편이 주민과 관광객 모두에게 특별한 추억이 되길 바란다”며 “문화복지 향상은 물론 지역 상권에도 활력을 불어넣는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Starting with the animation ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ depicting the friendship between a Viking boy and a dragon on July 25, various genres of films will be screened, including ‘Exit’ on August 22, ‘Toy Story 3’ on September 19, and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ on October 31.
Ryu Gyu-ha, the head of Jung-gu District Office, said, “I hope that watching a movie on Kim Gwang-seok Street will be a special memory for both residents and tourists,” adding, “I hope that it will be an opportunity to improve cultural welfare and revitalize the local commercial district.”
