【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 서변숲도서관이 오는 22일 오후 2시, 초등학교 3~6학년 학생들을 대상으로 작가와의 만남 독서문화 프로그램을 마련한다.

이번 행사에는 동화 작가 은정이 참여해 자신의 작품인 '마음이 사르르', '달빛 그림자' 등을 바탕으로 어린이들과 다양한 이야기를 나눌 예정이다.

도서관 측은 고민과 걱정으로 마음이 무거운 아이들에게 위로와 공감을 전하기 위해 이번 강연을 준비했다고 밝혔다.

은정 작가는 '또 다른 나의 세계', '어쩌다 삼각관계' 등 여러 아동문학 작품을 집필했으며, 2023년과 2024년 아르코문학창작기금을 지원받기도 했다. 현재는 어린이 창작교육 프로그램인 ‘어린이책작가교실’을 운영하며 활동 영역을 넓혀가고 있다.

서변숲도서관은 이번 프로그램에서 작품 속 장면을 활용한 이야기 나눔과 독후 활동을 구성해 어린이들이 자연스럽게 내용을 체험할 수 있도록 기획했다. 특히 보름달이 뜨는 밤, ‘달빛 그림자’와 떠나는 모험 이야기를 통해 아이들이 자신의 고민을 표현하고 마음을 잔잔하게 풀어보는 시간에 중점을 둘 계획이다.

강연 후에는 질의응답과 사인회도 진행된다. 서변숲도서관 관계자는 “이번 프로그램이 어린이들이 책을 통해 감정을 이해하고 치유하는 시간이 되기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 다양한 작가 초청 프로그램을 통해 독서에 대한 흥미를 높여갈 예정”이라고 밝혔다.

The Seobyeon Forest Library, part of the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation, will host a "Meet the Author" reading program for elementary school students in grades 3-6 on the 22nd at 2:00 PM.

Children's author Eunjeong will participate in this event, sharing various stories with children based on her works, including "My Heart is Soft" and "Moonlight Shadow."

Eunjeong has written several children's literature works, including "Another World of Me" and "Somehow a Love Triangle." She received support from the Arko Literature Creation Fund in 2023 and 2024. She is currently expanding her activities by operating the "Children's Book Writer's Class," a creative writing education program for children.

The Seobyeon Forest Library has designed this program to incorporate scenes from the books into storytelling and post-reading activities, allowing children to naturally engage with the content. In particular, the program will focus on providing children with a chance to express their concerns and find peace through adventure stories with "Moonlight Shadows" on full moon nights.

Following the lecture, a Q&A session and a book signing will be held. A representative from the Seobyeon Forest Library stated, "We hope this program will provide children with an opportunity to understand and heal their emotions through books." They added, "We plan to continue to foster interest in reading through various author invitation programs."
