【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=(재)행복북구문화재단이 오는 29일부터 내년 1월 31일까지 어울아트센터 야외공원에서 산타마을 빛 축제 '산타 브라이트 시즌'을 개최한다. 

올해 축제는 ‘마법’을 콘셉트로 야외공원 전체를 화려한 조명으로 꾸며 이색적인 겨울 분위기를 연출할 예정이다.

축제의 하이라이트는 높이 5m의 초대형 마법 스노우볼이다. 분수대에 설치된 스노우볼 내부에는 크리스마스 트리와 스노우맨, 마법사 캐릭터 등 여러 조형물이 배치돼 실제 크리스마스 스노우볼을 확대한 듯한 모습을 선보인다. 해당 스노우볼은 낮과 밤을 가리지 않고 24시간 관람할 수 있다.

29일 열리는 점등행사는 마법학교존과 산타마을존으로 나뉘어 낮 12시부터 오후 5시까지 진행된다. 마법학교존에서는 지역 예술가 6명이 참여해 미술 체험 부스를 운영한다. 큐브 트리 만들기, 물로 쓰는 미술 체험, 날아가는 책갈피 제작, 특수 종이 미니 키링 만들기 등 약 10종의 체험 프로그램이 마련된다.

산타마을존에서는 산타와 마법사 포토타임, 풍선 퍼포먼스, 캐롤 DJ 박스, 해피벌룬쇼 등 가족 방문객을 위한 다채로운 이벤트가 펼쳐진다. 따뜻한 차와 어묵을 나누는 행사도 함께 열린다.

오후 5시부터는 공식 점등식이 진행된다. 마술사 구본진과 행복어린이뮤지컬합창단, 뮤지컬 배우 백수민, 아나키스트 등이 축하 공연을 꾸민다. 이어 지역 주민과 함께하는 점등 퍼포먼스가 축제의 시작을 알릴 예정이다.

박정숙 행복북구문화재단 대표는 “올해는 마법을 테마로 한 다채로운 체험과 조형물을 준비해 일상에서 벗어난 특별한 경험을 전하고자 했다”며 “가족 모두가 따뜻한 추억을 남길 수 있는 축제가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.

The Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation will host the Santa Village Light Festival, "Santa Bright Season," from January 29th to January 31st of next year at the Eoul Arts Center Outdoor Park.

This year's festival, themed "magic," will feature the entire outdoor park decked out in vibrant lights, creating a unique winter atmosphere.

The highlight of the festival is a 5-meter-tall magical snowball. Inside the snowball, installed in the fountain, are various sculptures, including a Christmas tree, a snowman, and a wizard, creating a scaled-down version of a real Christmas snowball. The snowball is open 24 hours a day, day or night.

The lighting ceremony on the 29th will be divided into two zones: the Magic School Zone and the Santa Village Zone, and will run from noon to 5:00 PM. Six local artists will be participating in the Magic School Zone, offering hands-on art experiences. Approximately ten interactive programs will be offered, including creating cube trees, water-based art, flying bookmarks, and special paper mini keychains.

The Santa Village Zone will feature a variety of events for families, including photo opportunities with Santa and magicians, balloon performances, a carol DJ box, and a Happy Balloon Show. There will also be a warm tea and fish cake sharing event.

The official lighting ceremony will begin at 5 p.m., with celebratory performances by magician Koo Bon-jin, the Happy Children's Musical Choir, musical actor Baek Su-min, and Anarchist. A lighting performance with local residents will then mark the start of the festival.

Park Jeong-suk, Director of the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation, said, "This year, we've prepared a variety of magical experiences and sculptures to provide a special experience beyond the ordinary. We hope this festival will create warm memories for the whole family."
