【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(이사장 배광식) 북구립도서관(구수산·대현·태전·서변숲)은 오는 29일부터 초등학생을 대상으로 ‘2025년 여름 독서교실·도서관학교’를 연다.

국립어린이청소년도서관 주관 ‘여름 독서교실’은 SF, 코딩, 과학실험, 영어그림책 등 다양한 프로그램으로 구성된다.

태전도서관은 7월 29일부터 8월 1일까지, 구수산·대현·서변숲도서관은 8월 5일부터 8일까지 4일간 운영한다. 우수 참가자에게는 국립어린이청소년도서관장상이 수여된다.

‘여름 도서관학교’는 8월 5일부터 22일까지 3주간 진행되며, 창의력과 사고력 발달에 도움을 주는 강좌 24개가 열린다. 

구수산도서관은 ‘내 손 안의 북사이클링’ 등 4개, 대현도서관은 ‘애니메이션 스토리’ 등 3개, 태전도서관은 ‘알쏭달쏭 세계 문명 여행’ 등 4개, 서변숲도서관은 ‘똑똑 브레인 수학놀이’ 등 5개 강좌를 운영한다.

도서관 관계자는 “어린이들이 다양한 주제의 프로그램을 통해 독서에 흥미를 느끼고 도서관을 더 가까이 접하는 기회가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Buk-gu Public Library (Gususan, Daehyeon, Taejeon, and Seobyeon Forest) of the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation (Chairman Bae Gwang-sik) will open the ‘2025 Summer Reading Class and Library School’ for elementary school students starting on the 29th.

The ‘Summer Reading Class’ hosted by the National Children’s and Youth Library consists of various programs such as science fiction, coding, science experiments, and English picture books.

Taejeon Library will run from July 29 to August 1, and Gususan, Daehyeon, and Seobyeon Forest Libraries will run for four days from August 5 to 8. Outstanding participants will receive the National Children’s and Youth Library Director’s Award.

The ‘Summer Library School’ will run for three weeks from August 5 to 22, and 24 classes will be held to help develop creativity and thinking skills.

Gususan Library operates four courses including ‘Book Cycling in My Hand’, Daehyun Library operates three courses including ‘Animation Story’, Taejeon Library operates four courses including ‘A Journey Through the World’s Civilizations’, and Seobyeon Forest Library operates five courses including ‘Smart Brain Math Play’.

A library official said, “We hope that children will have an interest in reading through programs with various topics and have the opportunity to come closer to the library.”
