【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단이 주민들과 함께 축제를 준비하는 '행복북구 축제아카데미'를 9월 15일까지 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

9월 27일부터 28일까지 산격야영장 일대에서 열릴 '금호강 바람소리길 축제'는 10주년을 맞는다.

이에 따라 특별히 시도되는 이번 아카데미에는 북구 23개 동에서 모인 주민들이 참석해 축제 기획부터 운영, 콘텐츠 개발까지 함께 고민할 예정이다.

총 5회 과정으로 구성됐으며, 아카데미를 통해 나온 아이디어들은 실제 축제 프로그램에 반영된다.

교육은 축제 이론 강의와 다른 지역 우수 축제 벤치마킹, 북구만의 특색 있는 콘텐츠 발굴, 주민 주도형 축제 모델 연구 등 실전 중심 커리큘럼으로 짜여졌다.

첫 수업은 지난 28일 어울아트센터에서 열렸다. 북구 23개 동에서 모인 주민 40여 명과 축제 관계자들이 참석했다. 

첫 강연자로 나선 정강환 세계축제협회 아시아지부 회장은 '축제의 이해와 마을축제의 발전 방향'을 주제로 축제가 지역에 미치는 영향과 마을 축제의 중요성에 대해 이야기했다.

정 회장은 북구의 축제아카데미를 경기도 안성시, 대전 유성구 사례와 함께 "잠재력 있는 3대 주민교육형 축제 시스템"으로 평가했다.

앞으로 진행될 2·3회차 수업에서는 북구의 지역 특성을 반영한 축제 콘텐츠 개발과 함께 우수 사례 분석, 그룹 토의가 진행된다. 

4회차에서는 실제 축제에 적용할 콘텐츠를 설계하는 워크숍이 열린다. 마지막 5회차에는 수료식이 진행되며, 수료자 전원은 9월 축제에서 주민기획단으로 참여하게 된다.

배광식 이사장은 "행복북구 축제아카데미는 주민이 단순한 관람객이 아닌 축제의 기획 파트너로 성장하는 기회"라며 "이 과정을 통해 축제가 더욱 풍성해지고 지역공동체도 함께 성장하길 바란다"고 말했다.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation announced that it will be running the "Happy Buk-gu Festival Academy," which aims to collaborate with residents in festival planning, until September 15th.

The "Geumho River Wind Sound Trail Festival," held in the Sangak Campground area from September 27th to 28th, will celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The first session was held on September 28th at the Eoul Arts Center. Approximately 40 residents and festival officials from Buk-gu's 23 neighborhoods attended.

The first speaker, Jeong Kang-hwan, President of the World Festivals Association's Asia Branch, spoke on the topic of "Understanding Festivals and the Development Direction of Village Festivals," discussing the impact of festivals on local communities and the importance of village festivals.

Chairman Jeong praised Buk-gu's Festival Academy, along with the examples of Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province and Yuseong District in Daejeon, as one of "three major resident education-based festival systems with potential."

The upcoming second and third sessions will focus on developing festival content that reflects Buk-gu's regional characteristics, analyzing best practices, and conducting group discussions.

The fourth session will feature a workshop on designing content for actual festival applications. The final, fifth session will feature a graduation ceremony, and all graduates will participate as members of the resident planning team at the September festival.

Chairman Bae Gwang-sik stated, "The Happy Buk-gu Festival Academy is an opportunity for residents to grow beyond mere spectators into festival planning partners. I hope this process will enrich the festival and foster the growth of the local community."
