【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=한국한의약진흥원(원장 직무대행 송수진)은 26일부터 한의약 특화 인공지능(AI) 챗봇 서비스인 ‘맥챗(MAC-Chat)’을 공식 운영한다고 밝혔다.

맥챗은 한국한의약진흥원이 보유·관리하고 있는 한의약 데이터를 기반으로 구축된 AI 서비스로, 한의표준임상진료지침(CPG) 관련 정보는 물론 한의약 제도, 연구, 기초 자료 등 다양한 정보를 폭넓게 제공한다.

특히 기존의 시나리오 기반 질의응답(Q&A) 방식에 생성형 AI 기술을 결합해 단순 정보 제공을 넘어 이용자의 질문 의도를 분석한 설명형 답변을 제공하는 것이 특징이다. 한국한의약진흥원은 향후 이용자의 질문 유형과 응답 정확성, 사용자 경험 등을 종합적으로 분석해 서비스 고도화를 지속 추진할 계획이다.

송수진 한국한의약진흥원장 직무대행은 “맥챗은 한약실험정보데이터관리시스템(KLIMS)에 이어 신뢰할 수 있는 한의약 정보를 국민 누구나 쉽고 체계적으로 활용할 수 있도록 마련한 서비스”라며 “앞으로도 데이터와 AI 기술을 기반으로 한의약 특화 디지털 서비스를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

맥챗 서비스는 한국한의약진흥원 한의iN(인) 홈페이지를 통해 이용할 수 있다.

The National Institute of Korean Medicine (NIKOM) Launches "MAC-Chat," an AI Chatbot Specializing in Korean Medicine

The NIKOM (Acting President Song Soo-jin) announced the official launch of "MAC-Chat," an AI chatbot service specializing in Korean medicine, on the 26th.

MAC-Chat is an AI service built on Korean medicine data held and managed by the NIKOM. It provides a wide range of information, including information related to Korean medicine standard clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), Korean medicine systems, research, and basic data.

Notably, it combines generative AI technology with existing scenario-based question-and-answer (Q&A) methods to provide explanatory answers that analyze the intent of users' questions, going beyond simple information provision. The NIKOM plans to continue enhancing its service by comprehensively analyzing user question types, response accuracy, and user experience.

Song Soo-jin, Acting President of the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM), said, "MacChat is a service designed to provide reliable Korean medicine information to the public in an easy and systematic manner, following the success of the Korean Medicine Laboratory Information Management System (KLIMS). We will continue to expand our specialized digital services for Korean medicine based on data and AI technology."
