대구보건대(총장 남성희) 인당뮤지엄이 개교 50주년을 기념해 독일 출신의 세계적 현대미술가인 오트마 회얼(Ottmar Hörl) 작가의 기획초대전을 개최했다.

지난 5월초‘만향(滿香)’특별기획전에 이은 2번째 오픈 전시로  오트마 회얼 작가의 전시는  오는 7월 20일까지 진행된다.

이번 전시는 오트마 회얼 작가의 2015년 대구미술관과 2018년 부산시립미술관에 이은 3번째 대규모 개인전으로 2년 동안 준비한 기획 전시며 한국에서 처음으로 선보이는 회화작품과 사진작품, 작가의 세계를 만들어낸 영상, 대구보건대만을 이미지화한 조각을 선보인다. 

대중들에게 끊임없는 관심과 궁금증을 유발하며 예술의 가치와 중요성을 알린 오트마 회얼의 작품은 관람객들에게 공공미술이 가지는 의미를 새롭게 살펴볼 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 보여진다.
