【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 3월 27일부터 4월 4일까지 경상도 지역 산불 피해 복구와 이재민 지원을 위한 성금 모금 활동을 활발히 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.

이번 모금 활동에는 대구보건대, 광주보건대, 대전보건대로 구성된 사단법인 한달빛글로컬보건연합대학의 교직원과 학생들이 자발적으로 참여하며 따뜻한 연대를 실천하고 있다.

경상도 지역에서 발생한 산불은 큰 피해를 남겼으며, 해당 지역은 특별재난지역으로 선포됐다. 이를 계기로 한달빛글로컬보건연합대학은 대구보건대학교 헬스케어혁신원이 주관하여, 이재민들에게 온기를 전하고자 성금 모금에 나섰다. 모금된 성금은 추후 경상북도를 방문해 직접 전달될 예정이다.

대학 측은 피해를 입은 재학생과 교직원에 대한 지원을 위한 피해 현황을 면밀히 파악하고 있으며, 피해 주민들을 위한 연대와 지원을 적극적으로 진행하고 있다.

남성희 대구보건대학교 총장은 “이번 산불은 우리 모두가 함께 극복해야 할 국가적 위기”라며, “광주보건대학교와 대전보건대학교의 따뜻한 연대에 감사드리며, 보건대학으로서의 사회적 책임을 다하고 연합대학과 함께 복구 지원에 앞장서겠다”고 전했다.

이정화 대전보건대학교 총장은 “대전보건대학교는 연합대학의 일원으로서 이번 모금이 지역사회에 따뜻한 연대의 의미로 전해지길 희망하며, 참여한 구성원들의 마음이 피해 주민들에게 힘이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

김경태 한달빛글로컬보건연합대학 이사장(광주보건대학교 총장)은 “구성원들이 함께 마음을 모은 이번 모금이 피해 주민들에게 지치지 않고 일상을 회복할 수 있는 따뜻한 격려가 되기를 바란다”고 전했다.

Daegu Health College, Fundraising for Recovery from Forest Fires in Gyeongsang Province

Daegu Health College (President Nam Seong-hee) announced that it is actively raising funds for forest fire recovery and support for victims in Gyeongsang Province from March 27 to April 4.

Faculty and students of Dalhanbit Global Health Union University, a non-profit organization comprised of Daegu Health College, Gwangju Health College, and Daejeon Health College, are voluntarily participating in this fundraising activity and practicing warm solidarity.

The forest fires that occurred in the Gyeongsang Province region left significant damage, and the region was declared a special disaster area. Taking this opportunity, Dalhanbit Global Health Union University, hosted by the Daegu Health College Healthcare Innovation Center, has started a fundraising campaign to convey warmth to the victims. The collected funds will be delivered directly to Gyeongsangbuk-do later.

The university is closely monitoring the damage situation to support the affected students and faculty, and is actively promoting solidarity and support for the affected residents.

President Nam Seong-hee of Daegu Health College said, “This wildfire is a national crisis that we all must overcome together,” and added, “I would like to thank Gwangju Health College and Daejeon Health College for their warm solidarity. As a health college, we will fulfill our social responsibility and take the lead in recovery support together with the United University.”

President Lee Jeong-hwa of Daejeon Health College said, “As a member of the United University, Daejeon Health College hopes that this fundraising will be conveyed as a warm solidarity to the local community, and I hope that the hearts of the participating members will be a source of strength for the affected residents.”
