국민의힘 정희용 의원(경북 고령군‧성주군‧칠곡군)은 28일, 이같은 내용을 골자로 하는 ‘소득세법 일부 개정안’을 대표 발의하면서 “통계청 기부참여율 자료에 따르면, 지난 10년간 개인의 기부참여율은 지속적으로 감소하는 추세에 있다. 2011년 36.4%였던 참여율은 2021년 21.6%로 약 14.8% 감소했다. 기부 유인을 위한 제도적 환경 마련의 필요성이 커지는 이유”라고 설명했다.
