【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항테크노파크(원장 이점식)는 지난 12월 29일, 제5벤처동 대강당에서 열린‘인공지능 SW개발 경진대회’가 성황리에 마무리됐다고 3일 밝혔다.
경상북도와 포항시 주관 ‘양자컴퓨팅 인공지능 SW개발 전문인력 양성 시범사업(이하 본 사업)’의 일환으로 추진된 이번 사업은 양자 컴퓨팅 관련 취업이 가능한 실무형 인재 양성을 목표로 추진되는 사업이다.
포항테크노파크는 양자컴퓨팅을 활용한 인공지능 SW개발 전문인력 양성 프로그램을 시범 운영해 올해 80명의 전문인력을 양성한 바 있다.
이날 경진대회는 총 20개 팀이 참가하였으며, 이중 예선을 거친 6개 팀이 본선에 진출하여 최종 발표평가를 통해 순위를 결정했다.
문제해결 분야에서는 클러스터링 문제에 대해 양자 QAOA알고리즘을 제시한 ‘StatusQ’팀이 대상을 수상하였으며, 아이디어 분야에서는 비용적으로 최적화된 발전기 기동 조합을 구성하는 방법을 제시한‘선영최적화’팀이 대상을 수상했다.
총 상금은 900만원이며, 문제해결 분야는 대상(1점) 300만원, 최우수상(1점) 200만원, 우수상(3점) 각 100만원이 지급되며, 아이디어 분야 대상팀(1점)에게는 100만원이 지급된다.
이점식 원장은 “이번 대회를 통해 양자컴퓨팅에 대한 참가자들의 뜨거운 열정과 높은 기술 수준을 확인할 수 있었다.”라며, “양자컴퓨팅이 지역 산업의 새로운 먹거리가 될 수 있도록 포항테크노파크가 관련 산업 활성화와 생태계 구축에 더욱 앞장 서겠다.”고 말했다.
