4일 포항TP에 따르면 수소특화단지 지정을 위해 수소연료전지 인증센터 운영, 수소산업 융복합 인력양성, 수소연료전지발전 클러스터 구축사업 예타통과 등을 이루며 많은 노력을 기울였다.

이번에 지정된 수소특화단지는 포항 블루밸리 국가산업단지 내 28만 240㎡ 규모로 조성될 예정이며, 중점추진 사항으로는 ▲기업 집적화 ▲부품소재 성능평가 ▲연료전지국산화 등 기업지원 핵심 기반시설을 조성하고 앵커기업의 유치와 소부장 연관산업의 성장을 지원 할 예정이다.

포항TP는 이번 수소특화단지 지정에 따라 수소연료전지의 소재부품 강소기업육성, 시험평가 장비 및 설비의 고도화를 통해 기술 사업화와 인력 양성을 집중 지원하고자 하며, 포항공과대학교, 한동대학교, 포항산업과학연구원 등지역 내 다양한 연구기관과 협력하여 기술 실증과 인력 양성 등 전방위적인 지원 체계를 강화 할 계획이다.

포항TP 배영호 원장은 “수소연료전지 발전 클러스터와 연계하여 수소특화단지가 성공적으로 조성될 수 있도록 기술 국산화를 조기에 달성하고, 연료전지 보급 확대 방안과 기업 지원 플랫폼을 통해 수소 관련 기업의 성장과 지역 산업 활성화에 최선을 다하겠다. ”고 말했다.

The hydrogen specialized complex designated this time is scheduled to be built on a scale of 282,400㎡ within the Pohang Blue Valley National Industrial Complex, and the key promotion items include ▲corporate clustering ▲component material performance evaluation ▲domestication of fuel cells, etc., and the creation of core corporate support infrastructure, and the attraction of anchor companies and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises-related industries will be supported.

Pohang TP plans to focus on supporting the commercialization of technology and human resource development through fostering small and medium-sized companies in hydrogen fuel cell materials and components, and the advancement of test and evaluation equipment and facilities, in accordance with this designation as a hydrogen specialized complex. In addition, it plans to strengthen the comprehensive support system, including technology verification and human resource development, in cooperation with various research institutes in the region, such as Pohang University of Science and Technology, Handong University, and Pohang Institute of Industrial Science and Technology.
