【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=(재)포항테크노파크(원장 이점식)는 오는 5월 16일까지 동북권 ICT이노베이션스퀘어 확산사업의 일환으로‘청년 창업 아이디어 경진대회’의 참가자를 모집한다고 25일 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 AI‧SW기반의 창업 아이디어 발굴 활동을 통해 지역내 인공지능분야 기술개발 및 창업 생태계 확산을 위해 마련됐다.

공모 주제는 ‘AI‧SW 新기술 기반의 창업 아이디어’이며, 지원 자격은 공고일 기준 동북권(경북‧강원‧대구)에 거주하고 있는 만 19세 이상 만39세 이하의 청년으로, 초기창업자(창업 3년 이내) 및 예비창업자 모두 지원이 가능하다.

참가자는 1‧2차평가 및 멘토링을 통해 최종 최우수상 1팀, 우수상 1팀, 장려 2팀이 선정되며, 총 700만원의 상금이 수여될 예정이다.

본선 및 시상식은 5월 26일에 진행되며, 대회 입상자에게는 '23년 하반기 개최되는 정보통신산업진흥원 주관 전국 공모전 본선에 참가할 수 있는 자격과 함께 창업공간 무상지원, 교육 및 멘토링, 사업화 자금 지원 등의 후속 지원이 제공될 예정이다.

한편, 동북권 ICT이노베이션스퀘어 확산사업은 지역 산업내 디지털 기술의 접목과 확산을 위한 실무형 인재 양성을 목적으로 추진되는 사업으로, 포항TP는 인공지능, 블록체인, IoT, 네트워크 등 신기술 교육과 함께, 취‧창업 활성화 및 SW교육 취약지역 지원을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.

이점식 포항테크노파크 원장은 “이번 경진대회를 통해 고안된 참신한 아이디어들이 창업으로 연결될 수 있기를 희망한다.”라며, “우수한 아이디어들이 사장되지 않고 사업화될 수 있도록 포항TP가 가진 자원들을 적극 활용하겠다.”라며 지원 의지를 밝혔다.

Pohang TP Recruiting Participants for Youth Entrepreneurship Idea Contest
