【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자= (재)포항테크노파크(원장 배영호)는 지난 1일 경북ICT이노베이션스퀘어에서 ‘2025년 창업 아이디어 경진대회’를 성황리에 개최했다고 5일 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 주관하는 ‘ICT이노베이션스퀘어 확산사업’의 일환으로, 인공지능(AI), 블록체인(BC), 빅데이터(Data), 네트워크(N/W), 사물인터넷(IoT) 등 디지털 신기술을 활용해 지역 및 사회 문제를 해결하기 위한 창의적 아이디어 발굴을 목표로 진행됐다.

대회에는 경북·강원·대구 등 동북권 지역에서 총 26개 팀, 80여 명이 참가해 지역사회와 산업 현장의 다양한 문제를 주제로 열띤 경연을 펼쳤다. 참가자들은 아이디어 부문과 소프트웨어(SW) 개발 부문으로 나뉘어 치열한 경쟁을 벌였다.

최종 심사 결과, 아이디어 부문 최우수상은 ‘경도인지장애 홀몸 케어 서비스’를 제안한 ‘온유’ 팀, SW개발 부문 최우수상은 ‘AI 기반 고령자 근감소증 예측 및 건강관리 솔루션’을 개발한 ‘바이오바이츠’ 팀에게 돌아갔다. 수상팀에는 동북권 ICT이노베이션스퀘어 창업공간 입주 기회와 함께 전국 공모전 및 글로벌 AI 챌린지 참여 자격이 부여된다.

심사 및 점수 집계 시간에는 인기 과학 커뮤니케이터 유튜버 ‘1분과학’의 이재범 강사가 ‘미래기술과 인공지능’을 주제로 특별강연을 진행해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

배영호 포항TP 원장은 “뜨거운 관심과 적극적인 참여에 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 디지털 기술을 기반으로 지역 문제를 해결하고 산업 혁신을 선도할 수 있는 실현 가능한 아이디어들이 지속적으로 발굴될 수 있도록 다양한 창업 프로그램을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Pohang Technopark Successfully Hosts '2025 Startup Idea Competition'

Pohang Technopark (Director Bae Young-ho) announced on the 5th that it successfully held the '2025 Startup Idea Competition' at the Gyeongbuk ICT Innovation Square on the 1st.

This competition, part of the 'ICT Innovation Square Expansion Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), aimed to discover creative ideas for solving regional and societal issues using new digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain (BC), big data (Data), network (N/W), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

A total of 26 teams and approximately 80 participants from the northeastern region, including Gyeongbuk, Gangwon, and Daegu, participated in the competition. They competed fiercely on various topics related to local communities and industrial sites. Participants were divided into two categories: idea and software (SW) development, competing fiercely.

As a result of the final judging, the grand prize in the idea category went to the "Onyu" team for their "Mild Cognitive Impairment Single-Person Care Service," and the grand prize in the software development category went to the "Biobits" team for their "AI-based Elderly Sarcopenia Prediction and Health Management Solution." The winning team will receive a space in the Northeast ICT Innovation Square startup space and the right to participate in national competitions and global AI challenges.

During the judging and scoring, popular science communicator and YouTuber "1 Minute Science" Lee Jae-beom delivered a special lecture on "Future Technology and Artificial Intelligence," which received a enthusiastic response.
