【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항테크노파크(원장 배영호,이하 포항TP)는 포항 소재 중소·중견기업의 스마트공장 보급·확산을 위해 ‘2024년 경북형(포항) 스마트공장(기초단계) 구축지원사업’ 수혜기업을 모집한다.

22일 포항TP에 따르면 이번 사업은 경상북도와 포항시의 지원을 받아 포항 중소·중견기업 제조 현장에적합한 다양한 형태의 스마트공장 구축을 지원하여 기업 제조혁신 경쟁력 향상을도모하기 위해 추진되는 사업이다.

지원대상은 포항지역 내 중소·중견기업으로 공정개선과 품질향상 등을 위해 IoT, AI, 클라우드 등 첨단 기술을 적용한 스마트공장 구축 및 자동화 장비도입에 소요되는 총 사업비의 50%이내 최대 5천만 원까지 지원받을 수 있으며,평가를 통해 총 7개사를 선정할 계획이다.

지원신청은 스마트공장 사업관리시스템(smart-factory.kr)을 통하여 9월 9일부터9월 13일까지 5일간 지원 가능하며, 기타 세부사항들은 포항테크노파크 홈페이지사업공고에서 확인할 수 있다.

포항테크노파크는 2019년부터 포항스마트제조혁신센터를 운영하고 있으며, 현재까지 관내 76개 기업에 스마트공장을 보급하여 지역 제조 혁신의 구심점 역할을 수행하고 있다.

포항테크노파크 배영호 원장은 “이번 사업을 통해 지역 기업의 스마트공장 구축을 활성화하고, 생산성 및 품질 향상과 원가 절감으로 기업 경쟁력 제고에 최선의 노력을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
