13일 경북도에 따르면 올해 초 제16대 재경대구경북시도민회 회장에 취임한 양재곤 회장은 의성 출신으로 다성건설 회장과 강동구문화원장, 민주평화통일자문회의 고문, 고려대 교우회 상임이사 등을 맡고 있다.

양재곤 회장은“출향인들이 고향사랑기부제를 통해 애향심을 실천할 수 있고, 고향에는 재정을 든든히 하고 지역경제 활성화까지 거둘 수 있는 1석 3조의 기부에 동참하게 돼 너무도 기쁘다”고 말했다.

이철우 경북도지사는 “평소 고향 발전에 대한 열정이 가득하신 양재곤 회장님의 고향사랑기부에 깊이 감사하다”면서“고향사랑기부제가 지방소멸을 막고 진정한 지방시대를 열어 가는 중요한 제도인 만큼 출향인들의 적극적인 동참을 바란다”고 당부했다.
