【브레이크뉴스 영주】이성현 기자=영주시는관내 중소기업 근로자의 주거안정 및 기업 경쟁력 강화를 위해 근로자 기숙사 임차비 지원사업(이하 사업)을 확대 추진한다고 29일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이 사업은 사업주 또는 근로자 명의로 관내 기숙사를 월세로 임차하고 있는 중소기업을 대상으로 1인당 월세의 80% 이내를 월 30만원까지 최대 3년간 지원한다. 1개 기업당 최대 5명까지 지원 가능하며 산업·농공단지 기업은 10명까지 지원된다.

지원대상은 영주시 관내에 사업장을 두고 있는 제조업, 건설업, 전기공사업, 운수업 등 11개 업종의 중소기업이다.

참여 근로자는 4대 보험에 가입된 근로자로서 관내 거주지에 반드시 전입신고를 해야 한다.

참여를 희망하는 기업은 사업비 소진 시까지 수시 신청이 가능하며, 경상북도경제진흥원 북부지소로 신청하면 된다. 자세한 사항은 영주시 누리집 ‘공지사항’란에서 확인할 수 있다.

박정락 기업지원실장은 “이번 임차비 지원사업이 관내 중소기업들의 고용환경 개선 및 우수인력 유치 등 기업 경쟁력 향상에 큰 도움이 될 것”이라며 “관내 기업들의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.
