선정된 주요 사업은 ‘하수도 중점관리지역 정비사업’ 95억원, ‘풍기정수장 개량사업’ 270억원, ‘전통시장 주차환경개선사업’ 10억원, ‘풍기지구 풍수해 생활권 종합 정비사업’ 221억원 등 다양한 분야에서 성과를 거뒀다.
영주시는 앞으로 대규모 공모사업과 더불어 지역 실정에 맞는 다양한 사업 추진에도 박차를 가해 지역발전에 필요한 사업을 전략적으로 실현할 수 있도록 지속적으로 대응해 나갈 방침이다.
박남서 영주시장은 “어려운 재정여건 속에서도 국·도비 확보를 위해 적극적으로 대응하여 이 같은 성과를 이룰 수 있었다. 앞으로도 공모사업 확보를 통해 재정부담을 줄이고 부족한 재원을 충당해 지역발전을 견인 할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
