【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=영주시(시장 박남서)는 지난 1일부터 4일까지 나흘간 27명이 고향사랑기부제 온라인시스템을 통해 1258만 원을 기부했다고 5일 밝혔다.

특히 지난 4일 영주시 문수농공단지에 본사를 둔 에이스씨엔텍(주)의 장덕흠(영주시 평은면 출신) 대표가 1인당 최고한도액인 500만 원을 기부했다.

에이스씨엔택(주)은 탄소섬유를 가공해 정밀절단 탄소섬유인 촙트카본파이버 ‘ACECA’를 생산하는 소재부품기업으로 2022년 제59회 무역의날 수출유공 기업체로 선정돼 ‘5백만불 수출의 탑’과 ‘2018년 경북도 신성장 기업 표창’등을 수상한 지역의 대표 수출기업이다.

시 관계자는 “고향을 사랑하는 마음으로 기부제에 참여하신 분들께 감사의 인사를 드린다”며 “많은 분들께서 동참하실 수 있도록 제도 홍보 등을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 올해 전국 최초로 시행되는 고향사랑기부제는 해당 지자체에 주소를 두고 있지 않은 개인이 그 지자체에 기부(개인당 연간 500만 원 한도)하면 세액 공제(기부액의 10만 원 이하는 전액 세액 공제. 10만 원 초과 시 초과분에 대하여 16.5% 추가 공제)와 함께 기부액의 30% 범위에서 답례품을 받을 수 있는 제도이다.
