【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 경산시 홍보대사로 활동하고 있는 전한길 한국사 강사가 500만 원을 기부해 고향사랑기부제의 고액기부자 1호라고 5일 밝혔다.

고향사랑기부제는 연간 5백만 원 한도 내에서 기부하면 10만 원까지는 전액 세액공제, 초과분은 16.5%의 기부금 공제 혜택과 기부액의 30%까지 답례품을 추가로 받는 제도이다.

경산시는 현재 대추, 샤인머스켓, 복숭아, 자두 등의 농산물과 전통주 및 대추가공품, 고액기부자에 대한 한우·한돈 세트 등을 제공하고 있다.

전한길 강사와 같은 고액기부자에게는 150만 원에 상당하는 답례품을 나누어 제공하게 된다.

경산시 용성면 출신인 전한길 강사는 경산고등학교와 경북대학교를 졸업하고 현재 서울 노량진 메가공무원학원에서 한국사 대표 강사로 활동하고 있으며, 구독자 24만 명에 달하는 유튜브 ‘꽃보다 전한길’ 채널을 운영하는 파워유튜버로도 명성을 떨치고 있다. 

전한길 강사는 “내 고향이 10개 대학이 운집해 있는 교육의 도시로 성장한 것을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각하며, 고향사랑기부제라는 뜻깊은 제도의 홍보에 선봉장 역할을 맡겨주신 데 대해 깊은 감사를 드린다”며 “앞으로도 내 고향 경산의 발전에 기여할 수 있는 일이라면 뭐든 맡겨만 달라”고 밝혔다.

조현일 경산시장은 “앞으로도 고향에 대한 건전한 기부문화를 조성하고 지역경제를 활성화할 수 있는 고향사랑기부제에 많은 관심을 주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
