8일 예천군청에서 예천군 축산과와 예천축협은 영주시 축산과와 영주축협과 함께 두 지역의 상생발전을 위해 고향사랑기부금 1,000만 원을 서로 품앗이 기부하는 기탁식을 진행했다.

이번 상호 기부는지자체와 지역 축협이상생발전 방안을 모색하던 중 상호 교차 기부하기로 뜻을 모아 성사됐다.

김민식 예천축협 조합장은 "두 지역 축협의 협력이 기부문화 확산에도움이 되기를 바라며, 우리지역 농축산물이 답례품으로 제공되며 다시 지역 경제를 살리는 만큼 제도 정착을 위해 함께 노력하겠다."고 말했다.

김학동 예천군수는 “상생의 뜻을 모아준 공무원과 축협 임직원들의 고향사랑기부제 동참에 진심으로 감사드리며, 이번 기부품앗이를 통해예천군과 영주시가 상생 발전할 수 있는 계기가 되기를 희망한다."고 말했다.
