【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시는 지난 1월 1일부터 시행한 고향사랑기부제의 누적 모금액이 지난 3월 17일을 기준 1억 원을 돌파했다고 20일 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 지난 17일 풍산읍출신 이광옥 ㈜반도 회장이 5백만 원을 기부하면서 1억 원 돌파의 주인공이 됐다.

고향사랑기부제는 법인이나 단체를 제외한 개인이 현재 주소지를 제외한 자신의 고향이나 지자체에 일정액을 기부하면세액공제 및 답례품을 받는 제도이다. 연간 기부 한도는 500만 원이다.

안동시의 전체 기부자는 759명으로 100만 원 이상을 기부한 고액 기부자는 13명이며, 기부자의 95%가 10만 원 이하의 소액 기부자로 나타났다.

안동시 관계자는 “고향 사랑의 마음을 전해주신 많은 출향인과 힘을 보태주신 시민들께 감사를 드리며, 기부금은 지역발전과 주민의 복리증진을 위한 소중한 곳에 쓰이도록 기금사업 발굴에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 안동시는 앞으로 1,000번째 기부자에게 소정의 기념품을 지급하는 이벤트를 마련해 많은 출향인이 기부에 참여하도록유도해 나갈 예정이다.
