4일 동구청에 따르면 고향사랑기부제는 건전한 기부문화 조성과 지방재정 확충 및 지역경제 활성화를 위해 도입됐으며, 개인이 주민등록상 주소지를 제외한 전국 모든 지자체에 기부 할 수 있다. 

모인 기부금은 주민 복리 증진 등에 사용된다.

기부상한액은 1인당 연간 500만 원이며, 10만 원 기부시 전액 공제되며, 10만원 초과분은 16.5% 세액 공제된다. 

또 개인별 기부금액 총액의 30% 이내에서 지역특산품 등의 답례품을 기부자가 원할 시 제공한다. 

1호는 경상북도에 주소지를 두고 있는 사람이며, 2호는 강원도에 거주하는 사람이다. 각각 10만 원씩 동구청에 기부했다. 

윤석준 동구청장은 “동구 고향사랑기부제의 첫 문을 열어주신 주민 분들께 감사드린다"며," 이제 첫걸음을 뗀 동구 고향사랑기부제가 더욱 성공적으로 정착 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다. 내 고향 동구를 살리는 고향사랑기부제에 적극적인 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
