【브레이크뉴스 경북 】이성현 기자= 경상북도의회는 30일 일본 가미카와 요코 외무상이 일본 정기국회 외교연설에서 독도에 대해 부당한 영유권 주장을 되풀이한 것을 강력히 항의하며, 즉각 철회할 것을 촉구하는 규탄 성명서를 발표했다. 

 경북도의회 배한철 의장은“역사적․지리적․국제법적으로 명백한 대한민국 고유의 영토인 독도를 일본은 매년 1월 국회 외무상 발언, 3월 교과서 검정, 5월 외교청서, 7월 방위백서를 통해 날조된 독도 영유권 주장을 반복하고 있다”면서 “독도를 관할하는 도의장으로서 일본의 독도 영유권 주장은 명백한 주권 침해 행위로 260만 도민과 함께 단호하게 대응해 나갈 것”임을 분명하게 밝혔다.

해마다 우리 정부와 경상북도가 항의하고 단호한 입장을 보이고 있지만, 일본 외무상을 포함하여 일본 국회의 독도 망언은 2014년도부터 시작하여 11년째 이어지고 있다.

허복 독도수호특별위원장은 “일본의 외무상이 교체되어도 계속해서 반복 되는 역사 왜곡과 독도에 대한 도발행위를 규탄하면서 일본의 제대로 된 역사 인식하에 양국의 건전한 협력 관계 회복과 세계평화 구축에 동참해야 한다”고 촉구했다.

Heo Bok, chairman of the Dokdo Defense Special Committee, said, “We must condemn the distortion of history and provocative acts against Dokdo that continue to be repeated even after Japan’s foreign minister is replaced, and we must participate in restoring a sound cooperative relationship between the two countries and establishing world peace under Japan’s proper understanding of history.” He urged.
