군에 따르면 이번 행사는 서울·인천·경기를 제외한 비수도권 지자체에 고향사랑기부를 한 기부자에게 ‘1만 원 감사 쿠폰’을 제공하는 내용이다. 쿠폰은 지역 제한 없이 전국 어디에서든 숙박 예약 시 사용할 수 있다.
고향사랑기부제는 개인이 거주지를 제외한 지자체에 기부하면 세액공제와 함께 지역 특산품 답례품을 받을 수 있는 제도로, 이번 이벤트를 통해 기부자는 기존 세액공제 혜택과 3만 원 상당의 답례품에 더해 1만 원 숙박 할인 혜택까지 총 14만 원의 가치를 누릴 수 있다.
김옥희 영덕군 재무과장은 “이번 제휴로 기부자의 만족도를 높이는 동시에 지역 관광 활성화에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
