【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=경북 영덕의 대표 수산물 축제인 '제19회 영덕 물가자미축제'가 오는 7일부터 9일까지 영덕 축산항 일원에서 새롭게 단장해 열린다.

이번 축제는 참가자들이 신선한 해산물을 직접 구워 먹을 수 있는 체험형 '씨푸드 그릴존'을 전면에 내세우며 가을 바다의 풍요로움을 선사할 예정이다.

이번 축제는 주민들이 주도하는 참여형 어촌문화축제로 기획됐다. 가장 큰 변화는 축제장에 대형 숯불 그릴을 설치한 '씨푸드 그릴존(Seafood Grill Zone)'이 마련된다는 점이다. 방문객들은 이곳에서 물가자미를 비롯한 영덕군의 싱싱한 해산물을 직접 구매해 구워 먹는 특별한 경험을 할 수 있다.

메인 콘텐츠인 그릴존 외에도 모든 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 다채로운 프로그램이 마련된다.

특산품 및 체험: 지역 상인과 주민이 참여하는 어촌 플리마켓을 통해 특산품 판매와 다양한 체험 부스가 운영된다.

이벤트: 무료 시식 이벤트, SNS 인증 행사, 인기 프로그램인 맨손 물고기 잡기 체험 등이 준비되어 참여의 재미를 더했다.

공연: 낮에는 '썬 스테이지', 밤에는 '문 스테이지'를 운영해 초청 가수의 화려한 무대와 지역 동아리 공연, DJ 파티, 노래자랑 등 다양한 이벤트가 축산항을 수놓는다.

어촌 체험: 맨손 물고기 잡기 외에도 어선 승선 체험 등 바다와 직접 교감할 수 있는 프로그램도 진행된다.

김광열 영덕군수는 “이번 축제는 주민들이 준비부터 운영까지 적극적으로 참여해 그 의미가 더욱 크다”고 밝혔다. 이어 김 군수는 “지난 3월 경북 산불이라는 큰 고난을 극복하고 지역의 역량과 활력을 더하는 이번 축제를 통해 영덕 바다의 진정한 맛과 낭만을 느껴보시길 바란다”고 방문을 권유했다.
