【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군은 탄소중립 실현과 대기 환경 개선을 위해 추진하는 올해 친환경 자동차 구매보조금 지원사업 신청을 이달 3일부터 접수한다고 밝혔다.
올해 영덕군이 보조금을 지원하는 친환경 차량은 승용차 100대, 화물차 20대, 승합차 3대 등 총 123대다. 이 가운데 상반기에는 승용차 80대, 화물차 14대, 승합차 3대에 대해 우선 지원이 이뤄질 예정이다.
추가 지원 혜택도 마련됐다. △19세 이상 34세 이하 청년이 생애 최초로 자동차를 구매할 경우 보조금 20% 추가 지원 △다자녀 가구는 자녀 수에 따라 2명 100만 원, 3명 200만 원, 4명 이상 300만 원 추가 지원 △소상공인과 차상위 이하 계층의 전기 화물차 구매 시 보조금 30% 추가 지원 △농업인의 전기 화물차 구매 시 보조금 10% 추가 지원 등이 적용된다.
특히 올해는 등록 후 3년 이상 된 내연기관 차량(하이브리드 제외)을 판매하거나 폐차하고 전기차로 교체하는 개인에게 전환 지원금이 추가로 지급돼 친환경 차량 구매를 희망하는 군민에게 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다.
지원 대상은 신청일 기준 90일 이전부터 영덕군에 주소를 두고 운전면허를 취득한 18세 이상 군민 또는 관내 법인·단체다. 보조금은 예산 소진 시까지 차량 출고·등록 순으로 지원되며, 구매지원 대상자로 선정된 날로부터 10일 이내 차량이 출고되지 않을 경우 지원이 취소된다.

If a vehicle is not delivered within 10 days of being selected as a purchase subsidy recipient, the subsidy will be canceled.
Applicants for the subsidy must sign a purchase contract with the vehicle manufacturer or importer and then submit their application through the Ministry of Environment's Zero-Emission Vehicle Purchase Subsidy Support System (www.ev.or.kr).
