직원에게 강제추행과 폭행 등 갑질 논란을 일으키고 한도를 초과한 불법 대출을 한 혐의를 받고있는 대구 동구 모 새마을금고 전 이사장 A씨가 구속됐다.

손대식 대구지법 영장전담 부장판사는 2일 특정경제범죄 가중처벌 등에 관한 법률 위반(배임) 등의 혐의로 구속영장이 청구된 A씨에 대한 구속 전 피의자심문(영장실질심사)에서 “증거인멸 염려가 있다”며 영장을 발부했다.

경찰에 따르면 지난 2020년 이사장으로 취임한 A씨는 직원의 멱살과 머리를 잡아당기는 등 강제추행과 폭행한 혐의를 받고 있다. 또 새마을금고법에 명시된 한도 기준을 벗어난 초과 대출을 실행한 혐의도 받았다.

A씨는 최근 새마을금고 이사회를 통해 해임됐다.
