군에 따르면 이번 사업은 영덕군에 거주하고 2022년 1월 1일 이후 어학, 한국사, 국가공인 자격증 시험 등에 응시한 청년 구직자라면 누구나 신청 가능하며, 1인당 연 2회, 최대 20만원까지 지원받을 수 있다.
이번 사업은 올해 영덕군에선 처음으로 시행하는 사업으로, 지원대상 자격증을 다양하게 확대 적용했으며 예산이 소진될 경우 조기 종료될 수 있다.
지원을 원하는 청년은 영덕군청 일자리경제과 방문이나 우편을 통해 신청 가능하며, 상반기는 6월 30일까지, 하반기는 11월 신청이 가능하다.
영덕군 강종호 일자리경제과장은 “올해 처음으로 시행하는 사업인 만큼 보다 많은 청년들이 사업의 혜택을 볼 수 있도록 홍보에 심혈을 기울리겠다”며, “앞으로도 다양한 청년 정책을 추진해 취업을 희망하는 청년들의 역량 강화를 위해 노력을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
