이날 출범식은 김광열 영덕군수를 비롯해 군의회 손덕수 의장 및 각 의원, 각계 기관단체장, 나눔봉사단 등 100여명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐다.

차광명 나눔봉사단의 캠페인 출범 선포, 김광열 군수의 희망 메시지 전달, 사랑의 온도탑 제막, 현장 성금 모금 등과 이아영 소프라노와 죠이풀 합창단(열린지역아동센터, 꿈이자라는지역아동센터)의 공연도 이어졌다.

희망2023 나눔캠페인은 이웃을 돕기 위한 연말연시 집중모금 행사로, 경북사회복지공동모금회 주최 영덕군 후원으로 12월 1일부터 내년 1월31일까지 62일간 진행된다.

영덕군의 올해 성금 목표액은 2억 5,300만원이며, 성금의 1%인 253만원이 모일 때마다 군청 본관에 설치된 사랑의 온도탑의 행복 온도가 1℃씩 올라가 목표액에 도달하면 100℃를 달성하게 된다.

김광열 영덕군수는 “나눔의 힘이 선순환되어 서로가 서로의 안전망이 되어주는 것이 지속가능한 영덕군을 이룩하는 밑바탕”이라며, “오늘 우리의 작은 실천이 보다 많은 지역민에게 긍정적인 영향력을 미쳐 나눔과 기부에 동참할 수 있는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
