【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 21일, 중개수수료 인하, 승객 호출료 무료, 안심귀가서비스가 등 다양한 기능과 혜택이 제공되는 택시 호출 플랫폼 ‘대구로택시’ 서비스를 오는 22일부터 개시한다고 밝혔다.

‘대구로택시’를 이용할 경우, 이용승객의 호출료는 무료이며 배달플랫폼 ‘대구로’ 마일리지를 이용한 요금 결제도 가능하다. 

추후 승객이 택시 이용 후 지역화폐인 대구행복페이로 요금을 결제하면 추가 할인 혜택을 주는 방안도 계획 중에 있다. 

또 대구로택시 출시에 맞춰 매일 선착순 3천명을 대상으로 첫 탑승시 3천원 쿠폰을 제공하고 올 연말까지 이용 다음 날에 2천원의 쿠폰 제공 행사도 진행한다.

시민들의 접근성과 이용 편의성을 확보하기 위해 기존 ‘대구로’ 가입자 30만여명이 별도의 앱설치나 회원가입 없이 ‘대구로택시’를 이용할 수 있다는 점도 매력적이다. 

‘대구로택시’만의 차별화된 기능도 선보인다. 

자녀의 안전한 귀가를 지원하기 위해 이용자가 자신의 택시 이용 정보를 부모, 지인 등 최대 3명에게 문자메시지로 전송하는 ‘안심귀가서비스’와 어린이나 노인 등을 위해 호출과 결제를 대신해 주는 ‘제3자 택시 지원 서비스’의 기능도 지원한다.

지역 택시업계에서도 ‘대구로택시’의 정식서비스 개시를 환영하는 분위기이다.

 ‘대구로택시’가 기존 거대 독점플랫폼 업체의 택시호출서비스 이용에 비해 서비스 개시 6개월간 중개수수료 무료, 6개월 이후 월 최대 3만원의 한도를 두고 운영될 예정이다.

홍준표 대구시장은 “대구로택시의 출범으로 택시업계·운수종사자의 수수료 부담을 완화하고, 시민들에게는 택시 이용의 편의성과 함께 실질적인 혜택이 있을 것이다”며, “현재의 독점적인 구조를 경쟁적인 구조로 전환하여 택시업계와 운수종사자, 이용시민 모두에게 득이 될 수 있도록 대구로택시에 대한 많은 응원과 관심을 부탁드린다”고 밝혔다.
