이번 협약의 목적은 이전 공공기관 임직원들이 지역 밀착형 공공지원 앱인 대구로 및 대구로택시 활성화에 기관 차원의 적극적인 참여를 위한 상호 협력체계를 구축하는 데 있다. 이를 통해 대구 이전공공기관도 어려운 택시 업계를 지원하고 지역경제 활성화에도 동참할 수 있게 됐다.

특히 2월 말 새롭게 선보일 예정인 ‘대구로택시 비즈니스서비스’는 이용 기관에 수수료를 부과하지 않고 출퇴근 및 기관 출장 시 대구로택시를 이용할 수 있도록 해 혁신도시의 교통문제 해결에도 도움이 될 전망이다.
