경상북도가 23개 시·군을 대상으로 실시한 이번 평가는 중소기업 육성을 위한 자체 지원시책, △중소기업 자금지원 실적, 경상북도 중소기업 육성시책, 기업 애로사항 발굴·해소, 기업하기 좋은 환경조성 등 5개 분야 14개 지표를 평가하는 제도다.

경주시는 경제·산업·기업도시 전략T/F 운영계획을 비롯한 기업지원 활성화 종합계획을 수립하고, 경주기업 통합패키지 알리미 카카오톡 채널운영과 CEO포럼 등을 통한 다양한 기업지원 시책을 운영하고 있다.

‘한수원-경주 상생협력 기업지원’과 ‘경주 산업단지 대개조’, ‘자동차산업 대전환 수퍼클러스터, 경북형 상생형 일자리’, ‘경주 혁신원자력(SMR) 국가산업단지 조성’, ‘경주 투자산업 선도지구 지정’ 등 기업지원 시책 등에서 좋은 평가를 받았다.

특히 ‘화산일반산업단지 진입로 확장’과 ‘건천1일반산업단지 배수지 설치’ 및 ‘상수관로 정비’ 등 기업 생산현장의 애로사항을 발굴·해소한 점에 대해 높은 점수를 받았다.

먼저 ‘화산일반산업단지 진입로 확장’ 사업은 “진입로가 협소한 탓에 차량통행에 불편을 겪고 있다”는 입주 기업인들의 불편사항을 접수하고 경주시가 자체 사업비를 투입해 산단 진출입도로를 확장 사업이다.
