【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영천시의회는 6일개회를 시작으로 15일까지 올해 첫 회기 일정인 제228회 임시회에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.

이날 본의회에 앞서 진행된 5분 자유발언에서 박주학 의원이 폐차과정에서 발생되는 폐기물들이 인근지역에 유출되는 사례가 없도록 향후 조례 개정을 통해 폐차장을 공업지역으로 이전하여 체계적으로 관리할 것을 제안했다.

이어 우애자 의원이 보현산댐권역 관광벨트와 관련하여 짚와이어 이용 및 홍보, 이용객들의 편의 문제 등 향후 발전방향을 제시했다.

이날 제1차 본회의에서는 제228회 영천시의회 임시회 회기결정의 건 및 박주학 의원이 제안 설명한 영천시장 및 관계공무원 출석 요구권에 대해 처리했다.

임시회 2일차부터는 각 상임위원회가 활동에 들어가 소관 상임위원회별로 영천시 부서별 주요업무보고를 받을 예정이며, 박주학 의원이 발의한‘영천시 마늘 주류제조면허 추천기준에 관한 조례안’ 및‘영천시 주차장 조례 일부개정조례안’, 배수예 의원이 대표 발의한‘영천시 홀로 사는 노인 고독사 예방에 관한 조례안’ 등을 포함한 총 8건의 안건을 심사할 예정이다.

마지막 날인 15일 제2차 본회의에서는 상임위원회에서 심사한 안건 등을 최종 의결하고 의사일정을 마무리하게 된다.

하기태 영천시의장은 개회사를 통해 “제9대 영천시의회를 출범하며 품었던 새로운 이상과 희망을 정책으로 구체화하고 시민의 진정한 대변자로서의 역할을 충실히 수행해 영천의정 발전에 힘쓰겠다”라고 말했다.
